Welcome.
We invite you to join us
as we learn to listen to the land,
co-create with the bees
and explore a deeper relationship with nature.
Welcome to River Hawk Ranch
River Hawk Ranch is our family home, a sanctuary and a shared, unfolding dream.
Guided by a deep reverence for nature, we are regenerating and rewilding the land, creating habitat for bees and other creatures, growing flowers and finding meaningful ways to share what is unfolding here with our wider community.
We see ourselves as caretakers of the land for a period of time. Our role is to listen, learn and allow nature to guide us in what River Hawk Ranch is becoming.
Our hope is that River Hawk Ranch can bring people back into relationship with the natural world: a place that uplifts, expands and reminds us of our belonging within something much larger than ourselves.
The Land
On Arakwal Country, within the Bundjalung Nation, River Hawk Ranch lies in the basin of Wollumbin, between the hinterland and the sea. 120 acres of diverse landscape: rainforest, wetlands, volcanic soil, and the home of River Hawk Bee Sanctuary. Guided by two simple principles — reciprocity and reverence. This land has been our greatest teacher.
The Bees
Everything we do begins with a simple question: What is best for the bees?
At River Hawk Bee Sanctuary, we co-create with the bees with reverence and reciprocity, honouring their autonomy, learning from their intelligence and receiving only what they can generously share.
The bees come first. Everything else follows.
Lumen Silta
Lumen Silta means Light Bridge.
Born from our relationship with the land and the bees, Lumen Silta is a collection of ritual offerings created with reverence, gratitude and love.
An invitation to deepen our connection with nature and its intelligence. A bridge from land to Light. From this land to you.
